Welcome to one of the most charming cities of Spain. Seville’s rich history has left the city stuffed with innumerable monuments like the awesome cathedral , the third largest in the world, the Giralda tower, the wonderful palace of the Reales Alcázares, the magical Barrio of Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Maestranza bullfighting ring and the passion for Flamenco an the perfume of orange blossoms on every corner.
Seville certainly is one of the most beloved places by visitors to Spain. Situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Seville has a rich Moorish heritage, and used to be a prosperous port that carried out trade with the Americas.
The streets and squares in the historic quarter of the capital of Andalusia are lively and busy. They treasure many constructions that have the World Heritage designation, and many districts are full of traditional culture, like Triana and La Macarena.
Seville is a prominent business and service centre in the south of Spain and has many hotels distributed all over the city which enable visitors to discover endless attractions. Museums and art centres, theme parks, cinemas, theatres and clubs are some of the many leisure options that a great city like Seville holds. Without forgetting, of course, the numerous terraces, inns and bars where visitors can practise one of the most deeply-rooted and tasty traditions in the city: "Going out for tapas".

Transfer by bus: The Line EA, that you will find outside the airport when going out from the arrival terminal connects the Seville airport with the city centre. To go from the airport of Seville to the center of the city and vice versa, there is an urban bus transport line (Line EA) that connects both points including the AVE station.
The ticket can be bought directly from the driver. The journey takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. A ticket for a single journey costs € 4.00, a return ticket costs € 6.00 and is only valid on the day of purchase. Please consult timetable EA Especial Aeropuerto for more information.
Transfer by taxi: Outside the Arrivals hall plenty of taxis are available to transport you to the city, a journey by taxi takes 15 minutes and costs between €15 and €22 depending on the time and on the traffic.
Transfert by bus: To go from the airport directly to the venue, you can take the line EA until the Torneo Plz. Armas stop. From here, you can either walk to the venue, but it will take you approximatively 20 minutes, or take a taxi.
Transfer by taxi: You can also take a taxi from the airport directly to the venue, the journey will cost you around €25 and will take 25 minutes.
Towards the end of the year, the weather in Seville starts to become slightly milder. In October, the sun shines for at least 7 hours per day and there are on average 6 days of rainfall during the month. Seville has a well organized city bus system making stops along most of the city's main streets known as the Autobús Urbano. Rides cost 1.40€ each way when you pay on the bus. Tickets and passes can be purchased at many kiosks (grey with 'prensa' sometimes written on them), news stands, stores, and hotels. Schedules and route maps are available where tickets are sold. Seville has one line of metro.
Smoking is prohibited in public buildings and on public transport in Seville.
Most shops in Seville open at 09:30 or 10:00, closing at 13:30 or 14:00 for siesta and reopening at 17:00 until 21:00 (or even later) on weekdays. On Saturdays they generally only open for half a day and on Sunday remain closed, but several bigger stores stay open all day, including Saturdays.
