Two weeks to go to POTEnT Final Conference, where partners will be able to showcase experiences and achievements in energy transition and the successful POTEnT international cooperation. An event that will see the active contribution of all POTEnT partners, that will take the floor of the “Maison de la Bretagne” on the 20th of April to present several good practices realised in each partner region.
In the morning, in a plenary session partners from France, Germany, Spain and the UK will discuss how energy communities can be examples of cooperation towards more democracy and sharing.
In the afternoon, two workshops will explore more in depth practices and policies for local energy transition: the spotlight will be on one hand on the One-Stop-Shops activated in Parma (Italy) and Lorient (France), as they proofed to be a very useful tools to engage with citizens and support the reduction of energy consumption in buildings, while on the other hand the cities of Vaxjo (Sweden) and Ettlingen (Germany) will present their present and future energy strategies to reduce CO2 emissions and become carbon neutral territories.
At the end of the conference, the Good Practices Forum will gather some of the most interesting examples of how energy transition is a rich and multifaceted topic: while Milton Keynes (UK) will present the Council strategy to promote green roofs and ALOEN (France) will talk about reuse, Tartu Regional Energy Agency (Estonia) will discuss KredEx as a tool to help the renovation wave, while testimonies from Sweden and Czech Republic will present projects of energy production with solar PV and hydrogen.
An exciting programme, and a very good way to close a successful cooperation among partners of 8 different regions!
