On the 28th of January 2021 the Public Investment Development Agency (VIPA), organized the second stakeholder group meeting to inform the stakeholders about the First Interregional Thematic Seminar in Vilnius and to discuss the POWERTY project activities.
During the meeting it was agreed that it is very important to cooperate among all the institutions seeking to adapt measures tackling energy poverty. And involvement should be in all levels: ministries, municipalities, social workers and vulnerable groups.
Lithuanian public institutions are really considering RES and there are more and more projects and regulation aspects appearance. There is no doubt that in the future more people will know about the benefits to use RES, but for now POWERTY is the main target – vulnerable groups are not so interested and do not have enough knowledge about that. As well it is very important for all institutions to cooperate seeking to adapt measures tackling energy poverty.
