On July 8, 2021, AURA-EE organized the third stakeholder group meeting to inform the participants about the approval and launch of the pilot action and to discuss the POWERTY project activities.
Three topics were discussed during this meeting.
- The first one was about good practices from France and from our partner’s territories sharing during the Second and Third Interregional Seminars. Régis Largillier, of the HOPE Chair, added to the good practices outlined a work in progress on a local energy loop, to equip hypermarkets with photovoltaic modules and give the surplus energy to people in the neighbourhood who are in energy precariousness.
- Discussions then turned to the implementation of the pilot action, recently approved by the joint secretariat. It consists in the implementation of a financing system with citizen renewable energy production companies, to develop RE in low-income households.
- Finally, the development of the action plan was discussed so that it could be ready by the end of July 2022.
