The School of Social Economy in collaboration with FAECTA, the Ministry of Employment and the Valle del Guadalhorce Rural Development Group organize the Local Energy Communities conference.
The Andalusian Energy Agency (AEA) participated in this conference, in which Ángel Sáez, a technician from the Department of Internationalization, Innovation and Singular Projects, addressed the role of public administrations in promoting energy communities, as well as the existing regulatory framework. It also presented the main actions that are being carried out in Andalusia in terms of energy communities, especially within the POWERTY European project, led by the AEA, and which aims to make it easier for vulnerable groups affected by energy poverty to use renewable energy.
