The main challenges discussed with the attendees: 1) circular economy as driver for innovation in rural areas. Focus has been made on the priority given to Circular Economy on regional policies and on specific needs related to instruments able to improve the competitiveness of SMEs and drive new services on the market; 2) Creativity approach applied to innovation for SMEs (lateral vision, problem solving approach, etc.). The two main challenges above descripted represent an interesting focus for the Lazio Region .
