The two-day visit took place in Durham, England (UK) on 19th and 20th February, Sergio Gatteschi, Marta Giulia Baldi and Annamaria Telino participated for the Florentine Energy Agency.
The two days consisted of inspections in several schools where energy efficiency systems were adopted and a strategy to sensitize the students to the problems related to energy saving was implemented.
Furthermore, it was possible to have a meeting with some energy-saving specialists, both in the technical field and in the field of communication. They explained to us the strategies put in place to make users of public buildings aware and achieve results in energy saving, and showed their consumption monitoring activities.
All the information has been very useful and may be helpful for us in redefining the political strategies of the Tuscan region.
