Following the rescheduling on the final event, which was originally organised to take place in March 2020 in Florence (before COVID-19 struck Europe), REBUS partners called for an online partner meeting to discuss project management and the closure of the Interreg Europe project. The international webinar was held on the 10th of June between 10:00 and 12:00 CET.

The two-hour meeting covered important issues to address before the official close to the project, including:

  • Round table on reporting – partner interactions on the status of FLC work / policy improvement / feedback on overall report
  • Round table on Action Plan monitoring and implementation – partners to prepare 2/3 slides each to summarise your activities
  • Brainstorming on final event (which was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) – updates from LP and open discussion

Partners were also able to present their regional updates through the use of online digital tools. Notably, Lead Partner Sergio Gatteschi (ARRR) also demonstrated the lasting effects of the REBUS project in the Tuscany region, including € 200 million of energy renovation projects in the pipeline as a result of the REBUS project. As demonstrated through ARRR’s presentation of their Action Plan, these potential projects stretch across the entire Tuscany region, with a particular focus in public buildings and hospitals.
