The workshop purpose was:
• To contribute to common goal in City of Malmo Environmental programme (with 30% mitigation to 2021)
• Together change behaviours towards a more sustainable approach
• Together find new strategies and solutions for sustainability that can be used at Mazetti, but also in other buildings
In the cultural building Mazetti there is a lot of different companies and facilities, such as offices, theatres, restaurants, a gallery, a nightclub, a dance studio and a workshop. There are many activities from early morning to late at night, with lots of people working in the building, and it also receives many visitors during the day.
The building uses a lot of energy, even during the hours when nobody is in the building, and as a part of the energy target for the City of Malmo, to save energy, the Mazetti building hopefully can contribute considerable. To achieve this, both the Landlord (Department of Internal Services) and the tenants have to contribute, or even cooperate. Goals for the Mazetti building is to mitigate energy consumption without decreasing the indoor comfort but also that the cooperation shall result in tips, suggestions and activities applicable in the building as well as in other buildings in the city.

The workshop was carried out in the city centre with 11 tenants from Mazetti and 5 representatives from Department of Internal Services. There were also 2 moderators leading the workshop.
The workshop was held with the following guidelines:

• The energy group is responsible for making it a greener, more environmental and more attractive place to work in
• Perform energy audit in Mazetti
• Change the lighting into LED
• Create a way to get direct response on energy consumption (LED-screens or web pages)
• Tips, tricks and advices through leaflets, posters etc.
• Focus days with energy theme where the theatre involves children in performance, and workshops etc.
