The sixth Exchange of Experience of RegionArts will be held in Rovaniemi, Finland on 18-20 March 2020. The meeting organised by the University of Lapland will present to the partners the 'Arctic Design Cluster' and much more.
The Arctic Design Cluster is a pioneering activity in Europe. It has been created through an initiative from Regional Council of Lapland, and it gathers together a whole set of actors from the Regional Council to universities (University of Lapland and Lapland University of Applied Sciences), businesses in the area, the City of Rovaniemi and Rovaniemen Kehitys Oy (business development agency). Arctic design combines and makes use of methods from art, science and design in solving societal problems.
The Arctic Design Cluster is involved in S3 and the University of Lapland in coordinating key projects in RIS3 implementation. Through this study visit, partners will learn about the programmes and work done by Arctic Design Cluster.
