The role of culture, education, media and sport in the fight against racism!
This document develops recommendations based on a study to provide expertise to members of the European Parliament's Culture and Education Committee (CULT) for an own-initiative report (INI) on "The role of culture, education, media, and sport in the fight against racism" (concomitant expertise).
This research looks into the following issues:
• Is the EU Anti-Racism Action Plan 2020-2025 a suitable tool for combating racism in the fields of culture, education, media, and sports within the EU's policy competences?
• To what extent are funding programs under the CULT committee's purview aligned with the Anti-Racism Action Plan 2020-2025's objectives in terms of the role of culture, education, the media, and sport in the fight against racism?
