On Friday 14 December a local dissemination event was held.   Sabadell City Council, lead partner of RELOS3, took the chance to introduce to PECT partners the work that has been carried out in the framework of the project in terms of exchanging good practices on the deployment of specialisation strategies at the local level.

The meeting presented the key concepts to carry out the operation and actions planned in 2019. The 2019 action plan was approved by all stakeholders present.  This included representatives of the public organisations involved (the local authorities of Sabadell, Barberà del Vallès, Castellar del Vallès and Sant Quirze del Vallès), and the different partners from research centres and universities, such as, the School of Design-ESDi, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Parc Taulí, among others.

The meeting was embedded in the "VALLÈS INDUSTRIAL. Innovation and design of European industry". This project, lead by Sabadell City Council, is financed by the Smart Specialisation programme for Catalonia, using European Structural Funds.  It aims to improve the competitiveness of the territory through the generation of an ecosystem for business and social innovation.
