On the 9th of December 2019, Mirko Kruse, a researcher at the HWWI, participated in a side event of the Climate Conference in Madrid: the panel discussion "Circular Cities for Nature". Here Mirko presented the 2 projects relevant for the debate: CLEVER Cities and REPLACE
As the Madrid conference was generally considered as inefficient, the reflections made within the panel discussion highlighted significant potential for international cooperation in the area of ​​sustainability.
