S34Growth partners and stakeholders from all ten partner regions came together in Belgium mid-March.
First there was the OSDD Flanders in Ghent, the last OSDD of the series. Our host EWI presented their regional landscape in terms of innovation and industry. We also visited the Food Pilot and the Biobase Europe Pilot Plant (BBEUPP), and met up with another Interreg Europe project SmartPilots.
On Thursday, 15 March our project was proud to host the S34Growth debate in the premises of the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. There was discussion about the challenges that S34Growth has faced and about the future of interregional cooperation in the next funding period. S34Growth is a good basis for testing and developing the cooperation, but the results can only be evaluated at the end of the project in 2020.
