Last week, a delegation from the Scottish Enterprise came to Tampere for two days to discuss an innovation partnership. The bilateral visit between Scotland and Tampere region was initiated by the Scottish partners of S34Growth, hosted by the Baltic Institute of Finland, and the thematic focus was on Industry 4.0.
During the two-day visit, the Scottish delegation met with key players of the region (Business Tampere, City of Tampere, and the Council of Tampere Region). They also heard presentations on two Horizon 2020 projects DIH^2 and TRINITY and spoke to the representatives of the ITS Factory.
The two regions will now continue to work on the innovation partnership agreement, and the next meeting is scheduled for June 2019 in Scotland.
