S3Chem project participated in the Policy Learning Platform Event organised by the Interreg Europe Programme on 19th  and 20th October in Milan.

In the center of the event were the needs of cities and regions as well as the good practices and approaches originating from Interreg Europe projects. The first day sessions focussed on research & development and open innovation, and on the second day discussions were held on SME competitiveness and regional growth.

On the first conference day the workshops and discussions on the following questions were of particular interest to our project:

  • How can synergies be created between the funding instruments for Innovation, Research and SMEs?
  • How can policy learning platform Projects such as the S3Chem Project Support in developing Solutions between Partners and in implementing them in regional policy practice?

           

In addition, together with other Interreg Europe projects, representatives of managing authorities of the Structural Funds programmes and policy actors, the S3Chem project had the opportunity to get to know and test the features of the Policy Learning Platform.
