The S3Chem project partners from Saxony-Anhalt participated in the event “Zukunftsdialog - Chemie und Bioökonomie 2018” held in Quedlingburg (Saxony-Anhalt) yesterday. The regional conference is a joint event organised by the Fraunhofer IMWS in collaboration with the Cluster Chemistry/ Plastics Central Germany, Chemie+ cooperation network, BioEconomy Cluster and the Weinberg Campus - Technological Park. Moreover, the regional conference serves as a platform bringing together actors from academia, politics and industry from the chemical and bioeconomy sector.
The Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation Saxony-Anhalt and the Fraunhofer IMWS welcomed the audience and highlighted the importance of chemistry and bioeconomy for Saxony-Anhalt.
The event was divided into two main sessions. The first session was about investments in innovations, especially with discussions on successful product innovations in Saxony-Anhalt. The second session was focused on expansions of companies in Saxony-Anhalt. Several companies presented themselves and their successful company enlargement in the course of the second session.
The lead partner presented the S3Chem project with a stand providing information about the project. Therefore, the project partners took the chance to meet important regional stakeholders and talk about the project, its objectives and work progress.
