Action 1: Development of Village Community Shop in Schleberoda
The aim of this action is to build a village community shop in Schleberoda. The shop will be located in a building owned by the municipality and will be based on 4 pillars: Order Shop, Coffee Shop, Event Location, Cultural events.
Action 2: Promotion of digitalization of rural retail in Burgenlandkreis
The objective to establish e-commerce functionality to allow the small businesses to sell their products online. Burgenlandkreis has promoted the development of the INKA+ platform.
Action 3: Networking and Exchange of Experiences in the “Village to Village” initiative
The objective of the initiative “Village to Village" is the creation of a networking platform to exchange experiences and knowledge between villages in rural areas in the Burgenlandkreis.
ACTION 1: Commerce Adhered to Rural Multiservice Project
The objective is to support local commerce in small cities and municipalities, by creating a sub-brand protected by a quality seal for small companies located in municipalities with less than 300 inhabitants.
ACTION 2: Development of a regulatory framework for the creation and development of Economic Initiatives Promotion Areas (BIDs) in Aragon.
The action searches to promote the creation of a regulatory framework for the creation and development of areas in which new models of comprehensive management of commercial areas can be implemented.
Action 1 Business Needs Diagnoses Mechanism
The main challenge is to analyse the way that the retailers are currently working in their business and to examine the solutions as to manage to improve sales growth and profitability for each business.
Action 2 Promoting Rural Retail Businesses Networking
The activities in this action are Measures to establish effective regional networking groups, Business interactive Seminars, Networking events, Local Retail Coupons, Open Malls a Local Rural Cities Markets Promotion.
Action 3 Informing Rural Retail SMEs on Funding Resources
The Region aims to promote Information activities on funding possibilities, encourage businesses on rural areas to apply for funding, improve familiarity with digital and social media platforms, training sessions and workshops and especially the visits of experts.
Action 4: Analysis of Rural Areas Retail Development Framework
Organizing Integrated Intervention Areas (OXE) – A spatial development model that benefits rural areas. Each Integrated Intervention Area is organized in 2 levels.
ACTION 1: “Kylien palvelupisteet” project for creating service points for villages
The Swedish model presented in a SARURE meeting, was found useful for South Karelia. Rural Development Programme for Mainland Finland was found fit for the case.
ACTION 2: “Etelä-Karjalan nettikauppa-alusta” Internet platform for retail in South Karelia
This action is based on the creation of an electronic commerce platform. It provides easy and cost-friendly means for a small firm to in internet sales.
ACTION 3: Morning coffee in South Karelia
The aim is to attract the enterprises and generate benefiting local events to improve vitality of the villages and improve knowledge of local products and handicraft work.
ACTION 1: DEVELOPMENT OF SERVICE POINTS
The Service Point is functioning as a hub in the area where the local community can do their errands, meet for a cup of coffee, use the public computer, take part in activities and get general information.

Community hubs, or community shops, are an ideal example of such an intervention, which have proved themselves successful in Ireland, and elsewhere in the European Union.
Action 2 - Retail Support Programme
The Retail Support Programme aims to upskill rural retail owners/ managers.
Action 3 - Tubbercurry Public Realm Enhancement & Open Air Market
Develop Tubbercurry public realm plan incorporating identified open-air market spaces and the securing of capital funding to deliver required infrastructural improvements.
ACTION 1: SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF RETAIL BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FIELD OF COOPERATION, DEVELOPMENT AND ORGANIZATION OF SALES
We want to support the development of an organization associating retail entrepreneurs in terms of their needs.
ACTION 2: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ACTIVITY OF SMES - ONLINE RETAIL DEVELOPMENT
The main goal of this action is to create a website / application run by an external organization will allow direct contact between the manufacturer and the customer.
