Last 15th January, the SCALE UP consortium organized in Lublin the first Interregional Policy Learning event of Business Concentration. The agenda of the morning foresaw the presentations related to the three Best Practices (BPs) identified by the Polish partner: the NLab Nevada –Lubelskie Acceleration Bridge; The Regional Brand “Lubelskie” and the Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre.
The second part of the morning was focused on business concentration in Lubelskie region. The presentations on “special economic zone in Lublin” was held by a representative of the city hall of Lublin. Therefore, three private company presented in front of a wide audience their mission and vision “Pszcolka Sp. z o. o.”, “LubApple/ Polskie Jagody”” and “Grupa Azoty Pulawy S.A.”.
The morning was focused on the concept of business concentration in Lublin, the afternoon sessionwas dedicated to the discuss about the same topic but in the regions of the SCALE UP project partners Murcia (Spain) Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH (Germany), Regional Development fund on behalf of the Region of Attica (Greece), Nottingham City Council (England) and EURADA (Belgium). All the partners presented their tools to support local SMEs to grow up in the national and international markets.
