The 2 day visit brought together partners and local stakeholder group members from 7 countries to learn more about SME internationalisation in the Kujawsko-Pomerskie region of Poland. The participants were able to:
- Find out about the regional economy including challenges faced and new developments which will encourage business growth in the area;
- Visit several companies from the region which have enjoyed success due to focusing on export sales;
- Learn about the support services that exist in Kujawsko-Pomorskie to help companies to tackle barriers to trading in international markets.
The visit was also an opportunity to identify a best practice case study which focused on creating business clusters to jointly bid for international contracts.
