As part of the SIE project, partners are visiting each region to find out more about how companies (SMEs) are helped with all aspects of international trade. This second study visit for the SIE project included:
- Visits to local companies which are doing well in international markets by selling Italian-made products abroad
- Discussions with various Molise organisations which have a role to play in supporting companies with exporting and internationalisation
- Presentations about SME support policies and programmes which are available to boost international trade for Molise-based businesses
Molise has just launched an innovative programme called "Go & Come Back" which enables young people to spend time working in and gaining experience with a company in another country. When they return to the region, they are offered financial incentives to start up new international companies in the region and put into practice some of the international business skills they have gained.
