This is why SILVER SMEs is investigating on improvements of regional support to rural SMEs of the Silver Economy!
In the past months, SILVER SMEs partners gathered in Cork, Ireland, in February 2020, to discuss business opportunities linked to dependent ageing population during our third international conference. 12 good practices from across Europe were presented during the event, giving inspiration to support dependent older adults in various European rural and mountainous regions.
Thanks to our study visits in County Cork, you can discover the Age-Friendly town of Bandon and understand how the initiative can help businesses to better adapt to older people’s needs in rural towns.

This 5-years Interreg Europe project was launched in June 2018. The project leader is the Spanish province of Teruel (Spain), and the other 8 project partners come from Ireland, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, France, Sweden and Poland.
