Hajdú-Bihar County Government hosts a professional national meeting to discuss a particularly topical issue.
The cooperation SinCE-AFC, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian State within the framework of the Interreg Europe programme, is aimed at the agri-food industry, especially small businesses, to help them learn more about the main features of the circular economy, the importance of minimising the use of raw materials and significantly reducing waste production, and their current and future role in it.
The County Government wishes to help by providing new solutions and tools that are not yet available in the county.
The event, which will take place on 13 July 2022 in Debrecen, will be attended not only by policy actors from Hajdú-Bihar, but also from the national level.
During the working session, several international and national good practices will be presented, as well as the action plan developed in the framework of the project, which aims to provide municipalities and agri-food operators of the county with a simple-to-use professional guide, and to develop a unique county agri-food by-products database.
Professionals will also have the opportunity to review available and planned financial resources.
