The 1st RSG was organized in cooperation with the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia .
During the meeting, where the members of the LSG were presented the targets and activities of SinCE-AFC project were analysed by ANATOLIKI, while the regional policies on circular economy were indicated by the Region of Central Macedonia.
The 1st Good Practice of SinCe-AFC project in Greece was identified namely this of ‘Social Plate’: Supporting Social enterprises in combating poverty and social exclusion. The 2nd Good Practice ‘RIS3 Platforms for AgriFood sector was presented by the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia.
Representatives from regional organisations and SMEs participated in this meeting including the municipalities of Thessaloniki, Thermi and Oreokastro, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Organisation of Solid Waste Management in Central Macedonia, the American Farm School, the Agricultural Cooperative of Metagitsi, Halkidiki and the Agrodesign Cluster.
The LSG meetings in Greece will take place each semester during the 1st Phase of SinCE-AFC project.
