On November 4, 2019, the Metropolitan city of Bologna hosted the international workshop organized within the IUC Austin TX, USA and Bologna Partnership, aimed at exploring the foundational elements of and intersections between two complex issues: climate resilience and the circular economy.
During the workshop, there was an opportunity to present the SinCE-AFC project to stakeholders, and in particular to Emilia-Romagna Region representatives and to University of Bologna experts.
Took part in the initiative and in the discussion about circular economy and Agri-Food sector: a senior expert at Emilia Romagna Region; the Director of second cycle degree of Sciences and Management of Nature, of University of Bologna; the cofunder of the spinoff Greenarco; a Ph.D, Research Development Manager on Circular Bioeconomy, University of Bologna; an assistant professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Bologna; a Research Advisor on Climate and Environment and an associate professor, of the Team lead BRIGAD.
The occasion was important for a first comparison on the issues related to the project and for the exchange of experiences, in order to build future synergies.
