STAR Cities kick-off meeting
The two-day event was hosted by the lead partner, the Val-de-Marne Tourism board, and the partners attended the event.
The event brought together the STAR Cities team with representatives from Hamburg, Kaunas, Roma and the NECSTourR network. During two days, the participants had the opportunity to take part in technical meetings, go on a field visit and discuss the future of river tourism in european metropolis.
Moreover, the european delegation met about fifty local actors of the Marne river banks during the launch conference held in Maisons-Alfort. Christian Favier, President of the Conseil départemental du Val-de-Marne and Gilles Saint-Gal, President of the Val-de-Marne Tourism board, were present to deliver speeches during the kick-off meeting.
