Infoday regarding industrial symbioiss and circular economy in Western Macedonia. Together with SYMBI project, two more projects related with the topic will be presented, another Interreg Europe project named BIOREGIO (Regional circular economy models and best available technologies for biological streams) and a LIFE project named M3P (Material Match Making Platform for promoting the use of industrial waste in local networks). Furthermore, three exaplles will be presented. The first concerns the successful example of collaboration of Public and Private Sector in Waste Management PPP in the Region of Western Macedonia. The second exaple that will be presented is the use of lignite ash form the power plants of Western Macedonia in the cement industry for road construction and the third example is about the use of wood residues in a pellet industry.
