International Conference on Raw Materials and Energy in a Circular and Low-Carbon Economy
SYMBI Infoday in Malopolska will be held along with the International Conference on Raw Materials and Energy in a Circular and Low-Carbon Economy.The purpose of the conference is to exchange knowledge and experience on effective methods and directions of management which conform with the circular economy model. On the first day, the the urban circular economy will be discussed, i.e. shaping attitudes and engaging citizens, new business models and ways of financing the economic development of cities. The SYMBI information desk will be available to disseminate the project results and share knowledge about circular economy and industrial symbiosis in Europe.The discussion on the second day will focus on industrial symbiosis including technological issues in the area of raw materials recovery, eco-innovation, improvement in energy and material efficiency, waste and emission reduction, as well as the use of new IT tools for industrial process management. The SYMBI project will be presented during the morning session, which will gather the main stakeholders and experts in the field of industrial symbiosis. One of the Malopolska flagship examples will be presented by a project stakeholder. Another presentation will be delivered by the winner of the SYMBI contest for students that is currently held in Malopolska.
