A digital innovation center will emerge in the Sunrise Valley with almost 2M Eur valued R&D equipment
The Sunrise Valley is home to the core of digital innovation development and implementation, where a new Digital Innovation Center will emerge in 2023. It is planned to allocate about 6M Eur for the development of the center building of which up to 30% will be investments from the European Union Structural Funds, the other part - a bank loan. It is planned that the Digital Innovation Center will provide services to companies for almost 33M Eur over a period of almost 6 years. It is estimated that companies using the Centre's services will develop over 450 prototypes of new products, services or processes.
The latest infrastructure for almost 2M Eur
The Sunrise Valley Digital Innovation Center will have 14 laboratories of various types and 11 research, prototyping and testing facilities. They will install the latest, almost 2M Eur valued equipment. The centre's services will be used by companies developing and implementing digital solutions in the fields of information technology, lasers and nanotechnologies, clean technologies, life sciences and biotechnology, electronic devices and mechatronics, digital construction and design technologies. Digitization services at the Center will be provided by a wide group of members of the center, which includes such companies as Femtika, CasZyme, R and R Technology, Prodivi, Critical Security, SENSmetry, Saulės grąža, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, ECM Studio. The activities of the center are coordinated by the Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park.
Access to the entire infrastructure of the Sunrise Valley
Up to 7,000 sq. m. The size of the center will rise next to other open access centers in the Sunrise Valley - the Center for Physical and Technological Sciences, the Center for Life Sciences and the Biotechnology Business Incubator. Vilnius University and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University operate in the Sunrise Valley - their synergy will help to better exploit the innovative, scientific and technological potential of companies for digitization and faster adaptation to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

It is planned that the new Sunrise Valley Digital Innovation Center will host events, trainings and courses, as well as provide consulting and innovation support services. Companies looking for help in digitizing business processes can already contact the Centre’s team. The team of the center consists of digital innovation experts who provide consultations and perform technological audits of companies.

Sunrise Valley Digital Innovation Center 2017 founded and coordinated by the Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park. The Center unites Lithuanian digital innovation leaders and cooperates with more than 50 partner organizations throughout Europe. Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park is one of stakeholders, which is actively participating in the TraCS3 project.
