The stakeholders of the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) in Lithuania met to get to know the latest good practices in TraCS3, make progress with their action plan and talk about the policy instrument to be tackled.

This third Lithuanian stakeholder meeting took place at MITA premises on the 14th of November 2019. The TraCS3 team shared good practices they learned during the interregional partnership meetings in Bremen and Tampere.

Action plan development
They also discussed possible ideas for action plan development. Some suggestions for the possible experts for the action plan development were made. The TraCS3 team will contact the suggested persons to check their availability for the action plan development job.

Policy instrument
Furthermore, the group reached consensus about the policy instrument that should be tackled. This will be the Digital innovation hubs (DIHs) instrument. The goal for now was general policy instrument selection, not yet to determine specified actions in particular detail.

Seven stakeholders
In total seven stakeholders took part in the meeting. They are from several organisations:

  • Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park
  • Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos
  • Ministry of Education, Science and Sports
  • Vilnius Gediminas Technical University
  • Center for Physical Sciences and Technology

The next stakeholder meeting of MITA will be held before the next partnership meeting in Romania, end of April 2020.
