On 24 May 2017 Region Blekinge, as PP3 of the TRAM project, arranged a constitutional meeting of the Local Stakeholder Group. Following up on the success of the TRAM interregional exchange activities held in Blekinge in March this year, the gathered representatives of the public administration, research organisations and local businesses discussed the local good practice on sustainable urban mobility, with particular focus on the European level cases. In effect, a list of 9 good practice cases recommended by the Local Stakeholder Group was validated and presented for further processing in the partnership.
The participants agreed to meet regularly in order to provide support to Region Blekinge in choosing the practice derived from the other partner areas in the TRAM project that would best reckon for adoption in the local development context. The membership in the Group is open and – over time – is expected to gather a wide group of sustainable urban mobility players in the region – committed to assisting Region Blekinge in enriching its development strategy.
