The North-West Regional Development Agency, as member in the TRAM Project - Towards new Regional Action plans for sustainable urban Mobility - has organized on the 2nd of October the 5th Local Stakeholder Group meeting.
The goal of the meeting was - besides presenting the conclusions of the process for identifying barriers faced by urban mobility initiatives - to have an initial debate on the proposed TRAM Action Plan for the North-West Region. Within the event, colleagues from the Urban Development Department have presented the status of projects related to urban mobility in the 6 main municipalities from the region, financed through Priority Axis 4 of the Regional Operational Programme.
The TRAM project is part of the Agency's efforts to support local authorities but also companies through the transfer of know-how from more experienced regions in the field of urban mobility, also by facilitating the dialogue among local actors by organizing events like the Days of Urban Mobility in Northern Transylvania in collaboration with the Department for Urban Development and Civitta Romania, the ITRE expert of the RDA.
