The convention on Sustainable Mobility will take place on the 15 and 16 of September, in Pesaro, Marche Region (Italy). This important two-day event, called "Move ideas to move people", is promoted by many associations who deal with urban and sustainable mobility.

The event aims at attracting interest of public administration, training and holding responsible enterprises and will mobilise all stakeholders in order to change and to improve mobility in Italy and elsewhere.

Two main issues that will be debated are the quality of public space and the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). Three working groups will be investigating technology innovation related to sharing mobility and urban freight logistics, public transportation, especially in low-density areas, and finally, soft mobility, such as working paths, touristic railways, greenways and national bikelanes.

The Marche Region, in the person of the Regional Assessor Angelo Sciapichetti, and the TRAM project will take part to this relevant event.
