There are many synergies between TRAM and OptiTrans, one of which is related to public transport service in rural and suburban areas. In TRAM case, the objective is to integrate the selected Good Practices in Action Plans at regional level.
Interreg OptiTrans has in its objectives the reduction of the carbon footprint of mobility, by strengthening public transport in rural and suburban areas and the reduction of bottlenecks in public transport networks.
In this sense, last week took place in L’Aquila, Italy, the Workshop “Use of ITC to react in real time to fluctuating demand”, in the frame of Interreg Europe OptiTrans project, and a representative of Interreg Tram attended as Stakeholder of Granada Energy Agency, which is one of the partners .
