City of Miskolc, PP4 in TRAM project, has recently launched a cycling application within the pilot action of the project, to promote healthy lifestyle towards a more sustainable mobility by motivating citizens through a gamification platform and a handy mobile application.
The first challenge just finished and rewards were handed over in the different categories in these days. But the next challenge already started.
Citizens may choose category to get on a ride and go for new rewards. They can use an app route planning, receive information from existing and planned bike routes and building or deployment schedule, POIs etc.
Application tracks travelled distance, calories burned, time elapsed and CO2 savings too, while at the same time providing local authorities and relevant third parties with valuable information on the most frequently used routes.
