On 31st January 2020 in Lugano, the DIALOG project has been presented by Furio Bednarz to the Swiss stakeholders. The local stakeholders involved in the project are represented by the steering committee of Fondounimpresa the interdepartmental service jointly managed by the Department education, culture and sport and by the Department of finance and economy.

Mr Bednarz underlined the philosophy of the project, valuing exchange as a fundamental means for innovation, through the identification, modelling and circulation of best practices in the field of social innovation and local development among the project partners.

Mr Bednarz clarified the reasons for selecting Fondounimpresa as a framework “practice” for participating at Dialog: Fondounimpresa is a component of the Regional Innovation System, an overarching policy aiming at promoting competitivity and social cohesion through participation and dialogue between local public and private actors and stakeholders.

Participants at the meeting confirmed their interest in joining the work to be done.

Afterword Mr Bednarz explained that one of the founding elements of the project is the identification, of a series of case studies having characteristics making them potential good practices. The next step will be to identify the case of studies, identify the participants of a Swiss delegation to the peer review visit in Trento and organize the peer review visit in Ticino, according to a plan to be scheduled with the other partners.

The Participants closed the meeting declaring their availability to collaborate at the exchange, actively participating at the peer review visit in Ticino.
