On 22 September 2022 from 09:00 to 15:15 (CET), there will be a hybrid event hosted by INL, the project partner, in Braga in a hybrid mode that will allow both in-person and online participation.
The event, which is part of a process organised by the project partnership involving EuMAT - the European Technology Platform for Advanced Engineering Materials and Technologies - took place last July and focused on the project's themes, correlating them with the highly topical COVID-19 pandemic emergency.
Indeed, COVID-19 has forced the NMP-related industry (nanotechnology and manufacturing, new advanced materials) to reconfigure production towards medical needs (e.g., facilitating the production of biocidal substances, producing mask fabrics, surfaces with antiviral/antimicrobial properties). These rapid changes in production bring with them obstacles, including the question of COMPETENCES and CAPABILITIES that need to be identified and developed first and foremost by national and regional political components.
This new event is a follow-up to the one held in July and will involve important stakeholders and is aimed at presenting and exchanging results. In particular, it will focus on two topics:
- The post-COVID start-up and acceleration programmes
- The skills for post-COVID NMP innovation delivery
