On the eve of the “World Soil Day”, Governor Cathy Berx of the province of Antwerp (Belgium) chose “Our Soil” as the theme of her State-of-the-province. Four speakers were featured. The focus on soil, land use management, biodiversity and circular economy, formed the ideal opportunity for OVAM to present their work in both the COCOON project and the RAWFILL project.

The final event of the COCOON project was held on the 17th September 2021.

The Dutch COCOON partner realized change to their waste management legislation. The effects will be monitored for 2 years.
The partners of COCOON convened on 1st of October for the 10th time to share experiences and learnings. The online meeting was organized by Rijkswaterstaat NL.
