The third interregional exchange of experience meeting of the COCOON project took place in Potsdam (Germany) on September 19 and 20. The state office of Environment of the state of Brandenburg hosted the meeting around the best practices on landfill policy and funding. Best practices on landfill management were presented and site visits to three landfill sites in Brandenburg ranging from small to large (Schöneicher Plan, Klausdorf” and Luckenwalde) were an inspiration for all of us. Also the draft report on landfill mapping was presented and discussed among the partners.17 people from the 8 partner organisations welcomed the managing authority of Andalucia.
