COCOON was presented at the Valletta Green Festival 2018 that was held from May 3 – 6, 2018 in Malta.
Each year, the Valletta Green Festival transforms Pjazza San Ġorġ into a huge floral carpet composed of some 150,000 potted plants. This has become a yearly programme of family-friendly activities happening in the capital city and other localities have established this much-loved weekend-long festival as a fun and accessible platform for initiatives promoting environmental consciousness on the Maltese Islands.
A stand equipped with the project’s banner was set up by Wasteserv to promote the COCOON project during this event. The stand was manned by Wasteserv’s representatives who interacted with the public who visited the stand.
Hundreds of people visited Wasteserv’s stand during the course of the event.
The audience seemed interested to learn more about the COCOON project and its deliverables.
