This presentation was held at the thematic event focussed on interim landfill use in Almere on June 6, 2018.
Jan Frank Mars (Rijkswaterstaat Soil+) shortly presented the FP7 project HOMBRE, HOlistic Management of Brownfield REgeneration. Within this project the brownfield navigator was developed. The brownfield navigator is HOMBRE's overarching design and communication tool, providing a platform to facilitate options appraisal, design and development for your brownfield. A closed landfill site can also be seen as a type of brownfield. Therefore, this methodology can also be used to describe the good practices of COCOON for the good practice handbook.
