COCOON has the pleasure to invite you to the workshop “landfill management: from landfill to useful resource” at the World Resources Forum in Antwerp (Belgium) on February 26, 2019.
In Europe there are over 500 000 landfills. What to think about the resources stored in and the land taken by these landfills?
This workshop will present the first results on the analysis of the landfill management in the six COCOON regions, accompanied by examples from Flanders and the Netherlands. We also focus on the EU landfill directive regarding the follow up of former landfills and the conclusions of the session in the European Parliament (20 November 2018).
