The first interregional exchange of experience meeting of the COCOON project took place at the Public waste Agency of Flanders (OVAM) in Mechelen, Belgium. All partner organisations were present and discussed upon improvement of the regional policy instruments. OVAM shared his expertise on mapping and prioritising of landfills in an inspiring presentation on the OVAM ELFM programme. The COCOON partners will use these data to perform a mapping of landfills and related policy in their region, which will be discussed at the second interregional exchange of experience meeting (May-June in Malta).
