From 1st to 4th of October this year, the 9th Week of the Green Standards took place in Valencia. This international congress organized by the United Nations served as a global platform for debate and knowledge sharing in order to raise awareness about the importance and opportunities to use ICT to protect the environment, move towards a circular economy and accelerate the transition to smart, sustainable cities.
SAV was one of the sponsors of this event and our stakeholder Consuelo Gomez, gave a conference on circular economy speaking about all the different projects they participate by taking this opportunity to promote CONDEREFF among the attendees. Thus, it emphasized the importance of the reduction of waste by using recycled materials and the optimization by using natural resources. Also, there was described the experimental plan carried out by SAV for the selection of recycled material for the road’s construction.
