On 21st March the Delegation of the Basque Country to the EU presented the CREADIS3 project at the workshop "Cultural and Creative Industries in the Regions: An unrecognized potential?" organized by the European Parliament.
Around 80 participants from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the representation of the regions and several stakeholder groups took part in this high level panel, which focus was on the topic referring to policy and improved funding structures for the European Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).
The discussion reached to an insight into various aspects of the CCIs in the regions, such as what is the impact of the CCIs in the regions, why can only CCIs achieve this; why is regional cooperation in this field important; what are the potentials and why do the CCIs in the regions have to be in the EU funding for after 2020.
