In the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC), the side event Skills reform & partnerships for SMART CCI was held virtually, last 15th October.
The event was moderated by Bernd Fesel (European Creative Business Network, Managing Director) and representatives of the European Commission and different regions discussed how collaboration and partnership-building is being supported by EU policies and programmes relevant for CCIS. The issues of skill reform was at the heart of the discussion, looking at new EU initiatives such as the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) on CCIs, the newly launched S3 Partnership on Cultural and Creative Regional Ecosystems – CCRE S3, the Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills in Cultural Heritage, and the regional ecosystem potential.
