CREADIS3/Smart Specialisation Creative Districts project has been selected by the European Commission as a relevant initiative to be labelled under the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018!
With this award, the European Commission recognise that CREADIS3 actions and initiatives during this year contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, as endorsed by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU in Article 2 of the legal decision calling for the EYCH. All CREADIS3 project events during 2018 will be organized in the frame of EYCH.
The aim of the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) is to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe's cultural heritage, and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space. CREADIS3/Smart Specialisation Creative Districts project will contribute to the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) the economy through its capacity to support the cultural and creative sectors in terms of promoting the Cultural and Creative Industries and their regional potential, intercultural dialogue and social cohesion; and strengthening the contribution of Europe´s cultural heritage and CCIs to the society.
