On 21st and 22nd February 2018 a Flanders DC delegation has been visiting Bilbao.
On 21st February a conference was organized in the Basque Historic Archives in Bilbao. Joxean Muñoz, Viceministry of Culture of the Basque Government, opened the session, where Flanders DC representatives, Pascal Cools – CEO, Managing Director and Carlo Vuijlsteke – Senior Project Manager, Districts of Creativity Network Coordinator, presented some relevant cross-cutting tools and programs they are applying in Flanders and their results, such as “CrossIndustry Innovation” (spaces or joint experimentation programs, crossing between traditional and creative industries), Canvas (Business model/ value propositionr), True Colors (Strategy tool for creative industries), Co-creation methodology, and the GPS toolkit (Brainstorm Tool).
Also, other specific tools and programs concerning Internationalization and specific purpose programs for Design, Fashion or Games, or Close the Loop, tool for sustainable fashion, where showed.
