The Autonomous Region of Sardinia, partner of CYCLEWALK, is actively promoting sustainable mobility through a series of local initiatives.
The Municipality of Cagliari adopted the new sustainable urban mobility plan and it introduced a free-floating bike sharing system called "Cabubi".
Other measures will be taken within the Multi-fund National Operational Programme Metropolitan Cities 2014-2020 (PON METRO) dedicated to sustainable urban development, which aims to improve the quality of services and to promote social inclusion in metropolitan areas.
