Mark your calendar! The next Study Visit will be held in Vilnius on May 23-24-25.
The study tour includes a technical training about two main topics: intersections and bicycle network planning.
The first part will be dedicated to the analysis of of the existing protected intersection but also to the next generation intersection designs and perspectives (like the bicycle roundabout, turbo roundabouts and roundabout-intersection hybrid).
During the second part, through simple, fun and interactive activities, the participants will identify the most important principles and aspects of the bicycle network planning.
The training day is designed for a small group of participants with the following backgrounds:
- Transport planners
- Civil engineers
- Policy makers in active transportation
- Public engagement professionals
- Road safety engineers
